The first Elder Scrolls was released in '94 for the DOS PC system, in this first enstalment of the series the player was intended to take on the role of a gladiator in an arena. However, during development of the game adopted the role-playing genre. This game began the principle of “being who you want, and doing what you want”, which persisted throughout the rest of the series.
Next came Daggerfall. This second installment of the series touted the first true 3D world, which its programers claimed that the game world was bigger “in scale” than Great Britain. After this installment of the series Bethesda decided to create some titles in the series that were of smaller focus and scope than their predecessors. One of these sequels was a liner third person action adventure. Morrowind was the third installment in the numbered series was released in 2002 and saw the return to the old-style and non-liner gameplay.
However this sequel had a smaller game-world than the first two of the numbered titles of the series. The game though was a success selling four million units by 2005. There were also two expansion packs made to follow up the release of Morrowind. These boasted better graphics and AI (artificial intelligence) and expanded content. Elder Scrolls Oblivion was released in 2006 and with many of the general concepts of the game staying the same the main characeter in the game is tasked with returning the emperors son to the throne after the emperor is assassinated. The latest release of the series Elder Scrolls Skyrim was released in 2011. It is not a direct sequel to Oblivion taking place some two hundred years after the prequel. Skyrim has since it's release received Spike's Game of the Year award.

My travels of the land of Skyrim have lead me to the some awesome and wonderous sights. Yes, I know how nerdy this sounds but for anyone who has played the game knows the scope and attention to detail that is put into this game they will understand. So far in this game I have became the leader of a group of warriors for higher known as the Companions. In doing so I contracted lycanthropy, if you don't know what that is lets just say I am a werewolf. My recent travels have taken me to the Dwarven halls of Mulfitz. This area was very difficult to navigate do to the subterainian creatures known as the Charus, (The are dog to lion sized insects with razor sharp mandibles.)
